I am Dian Xiwei<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I began writing when I was eight years old. Then, for many years, life carried me into a world that seemed far removed from words.\n\nThere was school, work, and simply the business of living. The years passed, one after another. Sometimes writing remained close to me; at other times, reality pushed it far into the distance. But somehow, I never truly left words behind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At forty-eight, I decided to begin again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not because I finally had enough time, but because I had come to understand something: if we keep waiting for the \u201cright time\u201d to do the things that matter to us, perhaps that time will never come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And so, Dian Xiwei came into being.\n\nAnd so did dianxiwei.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What I Write?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I write about family, women, growing older, choices, and the seemingly ordinary moments in everyday life that somehow make us stop and think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some stories come from memory; others from observation. Some are things I understood only after living through them. And some are questions for which, even today, I still have no answers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6211\u559c\u6b22\u6563\u6587\uff0c\u4e5f\u5199\u8bd7\u3001\u5c0f\u8bf4\u548c\u620f\u5267\u3002\u5728\u300c\u5e0c\u8a00\u8587\u8bed\u300d\u91cc\uff0c\u6211\u4e5f\u4f1a\u7559\u4e0b\u77ed\u4e00\u4e9b\u7684\u6587\u5b57\uff0c\u4e00\u4e2a\u5ff5\u5934\u3001\u4e00\u79cd\u611f\u53d7\u3001\u4e00\u6bb5\u751f\u6d3b\u91cc\u7684\u7247\u523b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don't write to tell readers how life ought to be lived. I would rather write about what I have seen, what I have lived through, and what I have wondered about.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if, somewhere in these words, you recognize something you have felt before, then perhaps this is where we meet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why \"Dian Xiwei\"<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDian Xiwei\u201d is the pen name I chose for myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, a name can be like a door.\n\nOn one side stands the woman who has spent many years living in the practical world. On the other is the girl who loved words from an early age, who once filled pages with stories of her own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am not trying to leave my former self behind, nor am I trying to become someone else.\n\nDian Xiwei simply gives that part of me\u2014the one who has always loved writing\u2014a place to exist again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beginning at forty-eight, I want to keep writing under this name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am in no hurry to prove anything, nor am I rushing toward any particular destination.\n\nI simply want to write seriously, one piece at a time, and slowly shape the years ahead into something that feels like my own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perhaps one day, you will arrive here because of a single piece of writing. When you finish it, perhaps you will open another.\n\nAnd perhaps, somewhere in a sentence, you will suddenly remember someone, something that happened long ago, or even a version of yourself you had almost forgotten.\n\nIf that happens, then this little place will already have found its reason to exist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There will be more words here with time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I will keep writing them, slowly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
